The recent pandemic has exposed and emphasized new requirements relating to the workplace which are determining an increase in demand for those buildings and spaces which are more sustainable and pay attention to personal well-being.
Within this context a new office consolidation deal was successfully completed by GVA Redilco, advisor to a Sicaf, wholly owned by Ardian and managed by Prelios SGR, involving the letting of a 15,000 sqm office building in Via Vittorio Veneto 89 in Rome.
The iconic building, which benefits from a strategic and well-connected location in the heart of the capital’s CBD, will welcome the new Deloitte headquarters from September 2022, with the aim of concentrating all company activities, currently divided between several buildings, in a single location designed around the tenant’s needs.
The asset, of great historical value, is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment, which will make it one of the office buildings in Rome with the highest quality level and one of the few holding triple certification: LEED, BREEAM and WELL.
The new headquarters, built for comfort, well-being and effective interpersonal collaboration, will be completed and fitted out according to the Tenant’s needs.
With this transaction, which is one of the most important to have been recorded in Rome in recent years, GVA Redilco is set to reach a take-up of 50,000 sqm transacted in the capital in the first six months of 2021, an unequivocal sign of a dynamic market and of a growing demand focusing on prime assets.
