The agreement between Renzo Rosso’s Red Circle Investments and Coima for the substantial refurbishment project facing the forthcoming Milano Cortina Olympic village 2026 has been signed.
Dils is advisor to the transaction resulting from the agreement between Coima SGR and the holding company Red Circle Investments of Renzo Rosso which provides for the refurbishment of the site of approx. 20,000 sqm in Via Lorenzini, located at Scalo di Porta Romana District in Milan.
Red Circle will co-invest with Coima in three buildings located in via Lorenzini 8, 10 and 12, in which the offices and laboratories of the pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim were operated. The premises will undergo a substantial refurbishment process to accommodate the new headquarters of Jil Sander and Marni, brand of Only The Brave, the well-known international fashion group controlled by the same holding Red Circle.
The new development project will be led by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), a leading international architectural firm, and the works are expected to be completed by 2025.
The choice of Only the Brave to move Jil Sander and Marni headquarters to via Lorenzini confirms the consolidation of the Scalo di Porta Romana District as a district of innovation and fashion, in which Dils plays an important role, promoting projects of development that enhance its enormous potential.
Since 2019, the area has attracted investments for over 350 million euros, of which 76% has been brokered by Dils. This amount is in continuous growth, considering that in the first half of 2022 the volume recorded was already equal to 69% of the total investments made in 2021.
Similarly, from 2019 to date, the letting market in the Scalo di Porta Romana District has recorded a take-up volume of approximately 75,000 square meters, with a participation of Dils equal to approximately 60% of the total leased area.
The relevant letting pipeline in the upcoming moths will keep high the letting figures in the district, with a particular focus on new developments underway.
