A new collaboration between Dils and Urania Milano has begun, launching the Urania Cares 2025 program, which offers meetings, events, and activities, primarily sports-related, to benefit young people and the community.
The first event took place on Thursday, January 23rd, at the Istituto Superiore Righi Falcone in Corsico (Milan). Together with basketball players Luca Cesana and Gianmarco Leggio, acting as “Professors,” a special Physical Education and play lesson was held, where the students experienced the beauty of sports and its values, even participating in an unforgettable game.
Urania Milano is a historic basketball team where the values of sportsmanship, loyalty, and fair play are the foundation that unites young people. In addition to its First Team competing in the National Serie A2 Championship, Urania has a very active youth sector, involving around 450 athletes aged between 3 and 18 years.
The Urania Cares program has long been distinguished by its focus on social inclusion, educational growth, and the sports development of young athletes, as well as its deep connection to the local community. The program targets the entire youth sector and, more broadly, all young people in the city: starting with on-field training, it extends to embrace various cultural, social, and sports organizations in Milan, with the goal of creating a positive and lasting impact on the community.
The collaboration with Urania stems from Dils’ desire to enhance the local community and support associations that are actively contributing to it. These goals are central to This is My Milano, the company’s Give Back program, through which over 30 associationswere supported in 2024, and 40 projects were carried out in the fields of art, culture, social inclusion, sports, and education in various neighborhoods throughout the city.
