University education has undergone a significant transformation during the pandemic, however digital training, despite all its advantages, has not abolished the need for physical spaces; indeed, the limited in-person learning experience has unexpectedly contributed to making its indispensability evident.
GVA Redilco, which firmly believes in training as an added value, acted as advisor for the sale and purchase of the new MIP Politecnico di Milano headquarters, in Ripa di Porta Ticinese 77.
Starting from the Bovisa Campus, the School’s nerve center, MIP is expanding its spaces and plans to build a new campus. This stems from the desire to offer students – international students in particular – the possibility to experience a different side of Milan, in one of the city’s most vibrant districts which combines the spirit of ‘old Milan’ with a lively cultural and social environment, and feel part of its dynamic essence.
Integrated within Milan’s design, fashion and lifestyle districts, the building covers a total area of about 2,000 sqm. After a complete redevelopment the asset, equipped with renewed spaces and structures, will become an inclusive, sustainable and technologically advanced centre for aggregation.
The Milanese real estate market continues to experience strong demand for quality product in strategic and well-connected locations.
This deal further confirms the market trend that sees a progressive hybridization of spaces within a market recording important purchase transactions by end users.
